ASIAN COLLEGE OF JOURNALISM (ACJ)
South Asia’s premier institution of journalism education, ACJ, invites applications for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma programme of 2010-2011.
ACJ offers four streams of specialisation: Print, New Media, Television and Radio.
The curriculum, spread over three trimesters, combines the ‘how to’ aspect of journalism with a reflective ‘why’ perspective and is designed to enable students acquire the knowledge, skills and discernment for ready employment in the profession.
ACJ diplomates are in high demand in the media across India and south Asia.
ACJ is finalizing an association with Cardiff University in Wales, UK, whereby students who clear a set benchmark can top up their diploma credits with a 15,000 word Dissertation Project leading to the award of the university’s M.A. Journalism degree.

SC/ST applicants are exempt from the application fee of Rs 1000/- on production of a photocopy of their community certificate. For details of scholarships, please see fees and scholarships page.
Graduates in any discipline and students awaiting their degree examination results are eligible to apply. Selection is based on an entrance test held at various centres in India and abroad in late May 2010 and a personal interview at the college in Chennai in mid June 2010. The academic year begins on July 12, 2010.
