The seasoned journalist compared the performance, market value and growth trajectory of the two companies with their peers, and explained the factors that have contributed to their success. He spoke about Amazon’s transformation into an everything store and discussed Tesla’s dominance in the electric vehicle industry. 

He also touched upon questions of cyber security and alternative energy in his lecture, and explained how demand from consumers and the government play out in the international market and influence global sales of the companies.
