The Asian College of Journalism, in association with Film South Asia, hosted screening of the Travelling Film South Asia (TFSA) -2016 package of 11 exceptional non-fiction productions of the last two years on Saturday and Sunday October 15 and 16, 2016.

The films were selected from the 42 documentary and non-fiction films in the competitive section of Film South Asia 2015, held in Kathmandu.

The TFSA tradition started with the first Film South Asia festival held in Kathmandu in September 1997. Since then, following each biennial ‘mother festival’, a selection of films has been packaged and screened regionally and globally. TFSA 2016 has a flavour of the Subcontinent with films from Nepal, Myanamar, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The package includes the award winners at FSA 2015 as well as other films selected to showcase the variety, treatment and intensity that mark the world of South Asian documentary and non-fiction.
