Eric Wishart, Standards and Ethics Editor, Agence France-Presse, delivered a four-part lecture session on ‘Meeting the challenges of journalism in a time of conflict, climate change and artificial intelligence’ at the Asian College of Journalism on Friday, November 1.

Wishart is the former editor-in-chief of the international news agency AFP and author of ‘Journalism Ethics: 21 Essentials from Wars to Artificial Intelligence’.

The engaging interactive lecture sessions were a good learning experience for students of the Integrated Multimedia Journalism course and the ACJ-Bloomberg Business and Financial Journalism course, and they participated in the lively Q&A session.

The US presidential elections and the Israel-Palestine conflict were among the issues Wishart focused on.
